DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME RETURNS SUNDAY

Daylight Saving Time is back this weekend.

The time change becomes effective at 2 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday), “springing forward” one hour.

Many people will lose an hour of sleep as a result of the change.  It also means the sun will rise later in the morning and set later in the evening.

Most electronic devices will adjust to the new time automatically, but some clocks and appliances will still need to be set manually.

Daylight Saving Time continues until the first Sunday in November, which this year will be November 1st.
