BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF & WARRANTS INCLUDING ASSAULT, EVASION, THEFT

  

Brenham police arrested four people between Friday and early this (Monday) morning.

Benjamin James Gantt
(Washington Co. Jail)

Around 7:30 p.m. Friday, Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to a noise complaint located in the 200 block of Riggs Street.  Police observed 26-year-old Benjamin James Gantt of Burton on location.  According to police, Gantt showed to have two active warrants for his arrest for Assault Family Violence with Previous Conviction and Assault of a Family/Household Member Impeding Breath/Circulation with Previous Conviction.  Once the warrants were confirmed, Gantt was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.

Christie Marie McCullough

Around 10 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 2400 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a warrant service.  Police say their investigation revealed that 39-year-old Christie McCullough of Brenham had an active warrant out of Washington County District Court for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle.  McCullough was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked for the warrant.

Beethoven Guzman Delgado

At 1:30 a.m. today, officers were notified that a wanted subject was in the area of the 1700 block of North Park Street.  They reported that 48-year-old Beethoven Guzman Delgado of Brenham had an active warrant for his arrest for Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions.  Delgado was located, placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.

Tommy Joe Farrell Sr.

Just shy of 2:45 a.m., Officer Zachary Heinecke was dispatched near the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance call.  Upon further investigation, 37-year-old Tommy Farrell of Brenham was arrested for Criminal Mischief $2,500 - $30,000 and booked into the Washington County Jail.
