CUB POWERLIFTERS COMPETE IN THE REGIONAL MEET

Two members of the Brenham Cub Powerlifting Team took part in the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Region 2 Meet in Joshua on Saturday, and they finished in the top ten in their respective weight classes.

Owen Robinson placed seventh in the 220-lb. weight class. Robinson finished with a 530-pound squat, a 385-pound bench press, and a 510-pound dead lift. This gave him a combined lift of 1,425 pounds.

Luke Mabie placed tenth in the 275-lb. weight class. Mabie finished with a 500-pound squat, a 405-pound bench press, and a 485-pound dead lift. That gave him a combined lift of 1,390 pounds.
