BLINN EARNS FIVE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL ADVERTISING AWARDS
The Blinn College District’s Communications, Media Relations, and Marketing Department has been recognized with five honors in the 41st Annual Educational Advertising Awards, including two gold awards recognizing the creativity and impact of the College’s marketing initiatives.
Blinn earned gold awards for its 2025–26 Viewbook, designed by Assistant Director for Marketing and Creative Services Darla Arter in the viewbook category, and for a poster promoting the Blinn College-Brenham Campus theatre production of “The Boys Next Door,” designed by Graphic Designer Catherine Muñoz-Myers in the poster category.
The College received a silver award for a poster promoting the Brenham Campus production of “Chemical Imbalance,” also designed by Muñoz-Myers. Blinn earned bronze awards for its 2025 Chancellor’s Report, designed by Arter in the annual report category, and for a promotional video highlighting the College’s Arts Program produced by Videographer Jay Robinson.
The Educational Advertising Awards is the nation’s largest educational advertising competition. This year’s competition received more than 2,000 entries from over 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools across all 50 states and several foreign countries. Entries were judged by a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing and advertising professionals.
“These awards reflect the creativity, professionalism, and collaborative spirit of our marketing team,” said Richard Bray, Director of Communications, Media Relations, and Marketing. “Our goal is always to tell the story of Blinn College in a way that highlights the outstanding programs and opportunities available to our students, and it is gratifying to see that work recognized on a national stage.”
