BRENHAM WINTER GUARD PLACES 2ND IN COMPETITION AFTER MOVING UP CLASSES

  

The Brenham High School Winter Guard put on a strong showing on Saturday during the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) contest at Langham Creek High School.

Brenham ISD says the Winter Guard recently moved up to a higher classification because of its strong performance earlier in the season.  At Saturday’s competition against schools from College Station and the Houston area, the team earned second place in its new class.

The Winter Guard now prepares for the semi-finals in two weeks, with a goal of advancing to the championship in mid-April. 

Members of the Winter Guard will perform their show “Ashes” on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Brenham Middle School Gym.  Entry is free and open to the public.
