BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH FAMILY ASSAULT
A Brenham man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday on a charge of family assault.

Shortly after 10 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 6400 block of Rocky Hill School Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim stated that after his father came home, he went into the victim’s room making derogatory comments. The victim then alleged that his father proceeded to assault him, causing injury to his chest, arm and leg.
After further investigation, 56-year-old Martin Perez-Bustos was taken into custody. He was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
