CUB TRACK HALL OF FAME INDUCTS TWO INDIVIDUALS AND ONE TEAM

As part of the annual Bluebonnet Relays, the Brenham Cub Track Hall of Fame held its annual inductions at Cub Stadium.

This year's honorees were Edward Ray, Craig Bradford, and the 1984 Cubette 4x400 Relay Team.

Edward Ray set the school record for the Triple Jump with 49 feet, and 7.5 inches during his senior season in 1995. He was second at the 4A State Meet. He was also part of the Cub 4x100 Meter Relay Team that ran a time of 41.06 seconds, which set a school record. They also finished second at the state meet.

Craig Bradford's time at Brenham High School goes back to 1982, where he won the 4A State Championship in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 13.90 seconds. That time also set a school record, and helped him earn All American Status.

The 1984 Cubette 4x400 Meter Relay Team consisted of Heather Van Dyke Thielemann, Kim Nuffer, and Barbera Lewis Solomon, and Gabby Gammon. They won the 4A State Championship that year with a time of 3 minutes and 47.5 seconds. The Cubette team finished 5th in the nation and earned All-American status. Thielemann and Soloman were on hand at the ceremony to accept the induction for their quartet.
