18TH ANNUAL RAM RODEO COMING TO LA GRANGE NEXT WEEK
The 18th Annual Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse Ram Rodeo is coming to La Grange next weekend.
The Ram Rodeo is going to be held on Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, at the Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo Arena, which is located three miles south of La Grange on FM 609.
Events will start on both nights at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $35 for a season pass, $20 a day, $10 for Youth Ages 6-12, and free for kids ages 5 and under.
Friday’s activities will feature the Go-Texan Barbecue Cookoff. There will also be a rescue race with a $30 entry fee per team.
Saturday’s activities include the Wild Bill Kelso Memorial Scholarship Team Roping Event. It is also “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local family battling cancer.
Among the festivities for both nights will be the Mutton Bustin’ competition. The cost to enter is $40, and participants must be under 55 pounds.
The father-son clown act of Craig and Cade Bickly are scheduled to perform as well.
