WESTSIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE MAKE HUGE WEEKEND ARRESTS
Two suspects with alleged ties to an Arkansas based drug trafficking organization were arrested in Austin County.
Cameron Clater and Juan Bradley were taken into custody on Saturday by the Westside Narcotics Task Force.
According to a press release from the Task Force, they obtained information that Clater and Bradley were in the Austin County area attempting to purchase 25 kilograms of cocaine.
Subsequently, Task Force Officers conducted an undercover operation that resulted also resulted in the seizure of over $326,000 in U.S. Currency.
Crater and Bradley were charged with Money Laundering by the Austin County District Attorney’s Office.
The Westside Narcotics Task Force covers five counties and is comprised of investigators from the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, Bellville Police, Sealy Police, Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office, Hempstead Police, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado County Sheriff’s Office, Waller County Sheriff’s Office and the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
