BRENHAM, BURTON ISDs ANNOUNCE SUMMER MEAL PROGRAMS
Brenham and Burton ISDs have shared details on their summer meal programs.
Both districts’ meal-to-go programs will begin on June 1st. Brenham ISD’s meal pick-ups will be at Brenham Middle School, while Burton ISD families can go to the Burton ISD Cafeteria.
For Brenham ISD, ten breakfasts and ten lunches will be given out every two weeks, on June 1st, June 15th, June 29th, July 13th and July 27th. Distribution times are 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 – 6 p.m. The meals are designed to be easy for children to prepare at home and are available to all children ages 18 and under, including non-Brenham ISD students.

Burton ISD will distribute box meals each Monday in June: June 1st, June 8th, June 15th and June 22nd. The easy-to-prepare meals can be picked up from 10 a.m. to noon. One breakfast and one lunch will be provided per student per day for the week, for a total of five breakfasts and five lunches each week.
