OIL SPILL, TWO FIRE ALARMS THURSDAY FOR BRENHAM FD

The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Thursday.

The first two calls of the day were for fire alarms, one around 2:15 p.m. at Kruse Village, 1700 East Stone Street, and the other just before 7:15 p.m. at the Brenham State Supported Living Center, 4001 Highway 36 South.  Both alarms were determined to be false.

At 7:15 p.m., units went out to a spill at a home in the 800 block of Spencer Street.  Firefighters found that a resident had spilled oil in the driveway and talked to the resident on how to clean the spill up.
