DOWNTOWN BRENHAM SUMMER SIP COMING UP ON SATURDAY

  

Local businesses are getting ready for Saturday’s annual Downtown Brenham Summer Sip.

Everyone is invited for an afternoon of shopping, sipping, and strolling from 4-8pm through over 40 participating local businesses.

Signature sipping glasses are being sold for the event.

They can still be purchased on-line for $35, or for $40 on the day of the event.

Brenham Main Street Manager Leigh Linden told KWHI that there are about 180 tickets left for sale on Saturday.

The glass pickup begins at 3pm. Bring your event ticket, or on-line receipt to the tent set up on the Washington County Courthouse grounds at the corner of South Baylor Street and West Main Street.

Participants will then get their sipping glass, wristbands, and a map to the businesses that are taking part in the Summer Sip.

In the event of rain, Linden said that their contingency plan is to move the glass and wristband distribution to Haak Winery.
