FIVE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Five people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge J.D. Langley.
43-year-old Kanitra Kaye Cloud of Brenham, sentenced to 15 years in prison and ordered to pay a $180 lab fee for two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, both first degree felonies. Cloud also had her probation revoked and was sentenced to 7 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony.
32-year-old Jacoby Jamar Landers of Brenham, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years in prison for Burglary of a Habitation, a second degree felony.
52-year-old Chad Everett Burns of Brenham, sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath/Circulation, a third degree felony. Burns was also fined $1,000 and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service, complete a batterers intervention program and maintain no contact with the victim in the case.
28-year-old Dario Lopez Gutierrez of Brenham, sentenced to 10 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Under 14 Years of Age, a first degree felony. Gutierrez must also pay a $2,000 fine and a $50 warrant fee, perform 300 hours of community service, maintain no contact with the victim in the case, register as a sex offender for life and abide by all sex offender conditions, and wear an ankle monitor as directed by the probation department.
42-year-old Donald Kirk Wilson II of Washington, sentenced to 110 days in the Washington County Jail for Terroristic Threat of a Family/Household Member, a Class A misdemeanor.
