BRENHAM ISD ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR AMBASSADOR ACADEMY

  

Brenham ISD has opened applications for its Ambassador Academy for the 2026-27 school year. 

The program allows community members to take a closer look at the operations of Brenham ISD and gain a deeper understanding of public education.

Participants will learn more about general business and school finance; curriculum, instruction and assessment; the district’s strategic plan; campus life at the elementary and secondary levels; and the roles and responsibilities of the superintendent, administrative cabinet and board members.

Ambassadors will meet once a month for a total of seven sessions, beginning in September.  Up to 30 applicants will be selected. 

Brenham ISD says its goal with the Ambassador Academy is to cultivate open dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders in order to build a well-informed school community.
