WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court is scheduled to meet in Special Session on Tuesday morning.
Among the agenda items is the approval of the permit application for the 2026 Chappell Hill 4th of July Parade.
The commissioners will then be discussing the approval of health insurance contribution amounts for the October 1, 2026 renewal for Plan Year 2026-2027.
Another item is to take action regarding an engagement letter with Singleton, Clark, and Company, PC for the Fiscal Year 2026 annual financial audit, and authorizing County Judge John Durrenberger to execute the engagement letter.
Commissioners will then vote on the acceptance of $350,000 in unexpected grant revenue from the Texas Rural Ambulance Service Grant Program and approve the associated budget amendment for expenditure of the grant funds.
That is going to be followed by the Washington County EMS seeking approval to purchase an ambulance remount and all items needed for upfitting from the Rural Ambulance Service Fund.
The last action item is an order to authorize publication of the Notice of Intention to Issue Certificates of Obligation
The meeting closes with monthly reports from the various county departments.
The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
