BRENHAM AND BURTON WELL REPRESENTED ON THE ALL-BRAZOS VALLEY BASEBALL TEAM

The Bryan-College Station Eagle has come out with their 2026 All-Brazos Valley Team. The Burton Panthers and the Brenham Cubs are both represented.

After winning the Class 2A Division II State Championship this past season, the Burton Panthers have been named as the Brazos Valley Team of the Year.

Burton Head Coach Matt Thaler has been named as the Brazos Valley Coach of the Year.

For the Panthers, First Team All-Brazos Valley honors went to P/SS Tyler Witt, while Second Team All-Brazos Valley went to P/1B Eli Jaeger and C Braydon Martin.

Also, for Burton, Tyler Witt, Easton Witt, Matt Roemer, and Archer Fuller were named to the All-Brazos Valley All-Academic Team.

Meanwhile, for the Brenham Cubs, they were represented on the All-Brazos Valley First Team by SS Dalton Hart, OF Drake Bentke, and P/1B Luke Hardy.

Making Second Team All-Brazos Valley for the Cubs was 3B Owen Finke.

This past season, Brenham won the District 17-5A Championship outright, and went two rounds deep in the playoffs.
