BRENHAM WOMAN BOOKED FOR PAROLE & THEFT WARRANTS, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
A Brenham woman was arrested on Monday on parole and theft warrants, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Approaching 11:15 a.m., Brenham Police Officer Rosa Salinas stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the 300 block of Liberty Street. K-9 Maki was deployed to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle and provided a positive alert, which resulted in a probable cause search.
A passenger in the vehicle, 37-year-old Jessica Malynn Nichols, was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, along with a parole violation warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams and a warrant for Theft of Property out of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
