SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS FOR UNLAWFUL WEAPON CARRYING WARRANT, INVALID LICENSE
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests on Monday, one for unlawful weapon carrying and another on license and registration charges.
A few minutes past 9:30 p.m., Corporal Matthew Brown conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of East Blue Bell Road for driving without lights when required. The sheriff’s office says the driver, identified as 41-year-old Terry Micheal Smith of Houston, was found to have an active warrant in Harris County. Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
At 10:30 p.m. Sergeant Fay Janes-Busse conducted a traffic stop at Highway 36 North and Geers Road for a defective license plate light. The driver was determined to have an invalid license and was taken into custody. 32-year-old Pamela Rene Clark of Brenham was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and Display/Expired Registration.
