ROUND TOP-CARMINE OPENS SEASON WITH A SWEEP OVER FLATONIA
The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes opened the regular season on Tuesday night with a three-set sweep over the Flatonia Lady Bulldogs.
RT-C won the sets 25-19, 25-19, and 25-14
Morgan Nelius led the offense with 12 kills, and she also finished with 13 digs.
Madison Markwardt led the defense with 15 digs, and she also dished out a team high 33 assists on offense.
Bree Dooley chipped in with nine kills and 12 digs.
The Cubettes also got nine kills from Caydan Nelius and eight digs from Avery Lamson.
Next up, RT-C will be taking part in the Columbus Tournament, which runs Thursday-Saturday.
