FIVE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Five people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.
45-year-old Edward Charles Graves Jr. of Brenham, sentenced to 14 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, a second degree felony. Graves was also convicted of Money Laundering $2,500 - $30,000, a state jail felony, and was given time served in the Washington County Jail for that charge.
34-year-old Sanel Bulic of Magnolia, sentenced for three counts of Online Solicitation of a Minor and two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, all third degree felonies. Bulic was sentenced to 5 years in prison on each count, with the sentences running concurrently. He was released to Montgomery County and the U.S. Marshals for higher charges.
47-year-old Kenneth Wayne McDonald of Bryan, sentenced on two counts of Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions, both state jail felonies enhanced to second degree felonies. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison on each case. The sentences will run concurrently.
25-year-old Giovani Francis Czito of Elgin, sentenced for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, both Class A misdemeanors. Czito was sentenced to 119 days in the Washington County Jail on both counts, with the sentences set to run concurrently.
28-year-old Miguel Angel Bustos of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony. Bustos must also pay a $500 fine, a $180 lab fee and a $50 crime stoppers fee, in addition to completing a drug offender education program.
