BRENHAM PD MAKES BOOKINGS FOR ASSAULT, RESISTING ARREST

  

Brenham police reported three arrests between Saturday and Sunday on charges including assault and resisting arrest.

Jamarcus Jamal Hester

Just before midnight on Saturday, Officer Gabriel Duran and Officer Mason Guillen responded to the 900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in reference to an assault.  Police say their on-scene investigation revealed that 34-year-old Jamarcus Hester of Navasota had allegedly assaulted a pregnant person.  Hester was placed under arrest for Assault of a Pregnant Person and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Anthony Lee Vela

Close to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sergeant Jose Perez stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the 500 block of West Sixth Street.  During the stop, police took the driver, 37-year-old Anthony Vela of Brenham, into custody for Resisting Arrest and for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.  Vela was transported to the Washington County Jail and released to jail staff.

Rameekia Romon Adams

Just past 10:30 p.m., Officer Mateo Guillen responded to the 700 block of Pleasantview Avenue in reference to a disturbance.  After further investigation, 41-year-old Rameekia Romon Adams of Brenham was taken into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Criminal Mischief.  Adams was transported to the Washington County Jail.
