BURTON VOLLEYBALL PICKS UP A ROAD WIN OVER BRAZOS CHRISTIAN

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team got back on the winning track last (Tuesday) with a 3-1 win over Brazos Christian in Bryan.

Burton won the first two sets 25-18 and 25-18, Brazos Christian took the third set 25-11, and then Burton came back to win the final set 25-19.

Madalyn Henry led Burton with 17 kills and 13 digs. Natalie Hodde added 14 kills and eight digs. Kinsey Lunbeck finished with 12 digs.

Laci Broesche dished out 46 assists, while also picking up five aces and eight digs.

Adison Harmel led the defense with 20 digs.

Next up, for the Lady Panthers, they will be taking part in the Rice Consolidated Tournament in Altair.

That tournament runs Thursday-Saturday.
