99TH ANNUAL FAYETTE CO. FAIR GETTING UNDERWAY
The 99th Annual Fayette County Fair will bring livestock events, music and fun to the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange this weekend.
Events run tomorrow (Thursday) through Sunday, beginning with a senior citizen’s dinner tomorrow at 1:30 p.m., the opening of the carnival at 5 p.m. and opening ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. The ceremonies will lead up to the announcement of the Little Mister and Miss, Junior Miss and the Fair Queen, followed by music from the Round Top Rockers.
This year’s queen candidates are Cloie Aschlager, Scarlett Grace Dodd, Bebe Pavlica, Nicole Vahalik, and Arianna Vincent.
Friday’s entertainment will feature Songbird Phil, Los Compadres Fara Fara, and Kings of Neon.
Saturday will have the parade in downtown La Grange at 10:30 a.m., mutton bustin’, and performances by Kolby Lane Karstedt, the Highway 6 Band, Gannon Fremin & CCREV, and Tyler Nance.
Sunday will close out with the lamb and goat shows and more mutton bustin’, plus music from Collin Dwigans, The Bandits, and Terri Clark.
