41ST ANNUAL KOLACHE FESTIVAL SATURDAY IN DOWNTOWN CALDWELL
The 41st Annual Kolache Festival is coming this weekend to downtown Caldwell.
Hosted by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, the celebration will take place throughout the day on Saturday, offering food, music and varied entertainment.
Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. and will include the crowning of the 2026 Miss Kolache Festival, followed by the SPJST Youth Beseda Dancers.
Two new experiences join the traditional slate of vendor shopping, exhibits, performances and contests. The Czech Heritage Experience is a VIP event offering a look inside the history, traditions and culture of the local Czech community. Meanwhile, The Great Kolache Quest will allow visitors to complete challenges and discover hidden treasures as they explore Caldwell.
The day’s events will also include the Kolache Krunch 5K, kolache baking and eating contests, a quilt show, an antique machinery and tractor show, museum displays and demonstrations, a classic car show, a kids’ zone, and live music with the Czechaholics, the Moravians and the Shiner Hobos.
Admission to the festival is free. A pre-festival party will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Burleson County Czech Heritage Museum.
