BRENHAM FFA PARENTS AND ALUMNI TO HOST 3RD ANNUAL BIG BUCK CONTEST
The Brenham FFA Parent and Alumni Association will be holding their 3rd annual Big Buck Contest.
Hunters can compete in categories like Best Big Buck, Big 8-point, Longest Spike, and High Fence.
There are multiple divisions including Archery, Youth Rifle, and Men’s and Women’s Rifle.
Hunters can submit entries from Washington and surrounding counties, the Hill Country, South Texas, and all other Texas counties.
Entry deadlines are October 2 for Archery, October 29 for Youth Rifle, and November 6 for Men's and Women's Rifle. The cost is $30 each.
Each entry also comes with a ticket to the awards banquet on February 20, 2027 at the Fireman’s Training Center.

Scoring will take place at the Kenjura Tile Training Center in Brenham.
Huntington Bank is going to host a kickoff event for the Big Buck Contest at their Brenham location at 501 South Austin Street on Thursday, October 29, at 6pm.
