Brazos Valley Brewing Company in Brenham has announced plans to close.
In a statement on social media on Monday, the brewery said it has accepted an offer to sell the property. The last day of business will be Saturday, October 10th.
The brewery thanked all of the regulars and those who have visited over the years, saying they “made this place what it was.” It added, “Come celebrate with us before we go, enjoy live music, have one more pint, and help us send it off right.”

The business was founded in 2013 by Josh Bass, Jeremy Bass and Nelson Pena, who crafted home brews in a garage before opening a location in downtown at 201 West First Street. Years later, it opened a brewery and taproom at 206 South Jackson Street, where it offers its varied selection of beers on tap and accommodations for private events.
