BURLESON COUNTY CHAMBER TO HOST 6TH ANNUAL DOWNTOWN SOMERVILLE CELEBRATION
The Burleson County Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host their 6th Annual Downtown Somerville Celebration.
The Downtown Somerville Celebration is being held in conjunction with Somerville High School’s Homecoming Week.
On Friday, October 9, the Somerville Yeguas will host the Holland Hornets for their Homecoming Football Game at 7pm at Yegua Stadium (the Rock.)
Then, the Downtown Somerville Celebration gets underway on Saturday, October 10, from 9am-2pm at the intersection of 7th Street and Memory Lane.
Activities include train rides, food, a pumpkin patch, kids’ games, and live music by Ricky Montejo.
The Somerville Area Museum will also be open for tours.
The Somerville Homecoming Parade is going to be held that Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:30pm.
Admission is free.
