VERABANK NAMED A TOP DEPOSIT COMMUNITY BANK
VeraBank has been ranked 38th among large U.S. community banks in S&P Global Market Intelligence's 2026 United States Community Bank Deposit Rankings.
The annual ranking recognizes community banks with the strongest deposit performance in the country, evaluating financial institutions with total assets between $3 billion and $10 billion based on data as of June 30th.
VeraBank CEO Brad Tidwell said the recognition reflects the confidence and trust that customers place in VeraBank, and that trust “is not something we take for granted.” He said, “We are honored to be recognized among the nation's top community banks, and grateful for the relationships we’ve built along the way that made it possible.”
According to S&P Global Market Intelligence, deposits represent a core measure of value and resilience for community banks. The ranking highlights financial institutions that have demonstrated the ability to build lasting relationships.
VeraBank’s Brenham location opened last year at 2690 Becker Drive.
