SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES BOOKINGS FOR INTOXICATION ASSAULT & AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION, DWI

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests between Friday and Sunday on charges including intoxication assault, aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.

Shortly after 11 a.m. Friday, Sergeant Fay Janes-Busse located a wanted individual in the 200 block of O’Malley Road.  52-year-old Ryan Gene Glaesmann of Brenham was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking on three counts of Intoxication Assault with a Vehicle Causing Serious Bodily Injury and three counts of Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury.

Just past 10:45 p.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the vicinity of Nicholson Lake Road and Chadwick Hogan Road for reports of guns being fired.  According to the sheriff’s office, subjects at the scene admitted to shooting weapons into the ground.  Due to the odor of marijuana being detected, deputies conducted a search of a vehicle and reported locating THC.  20-year-old Gabriel Isaiah Rodriguez of Tomball was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.

At 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Sergeant Adam Zavala conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Highway 105 for failure to drive in a single lane.  The sheriff’s office says the driver admitted to consuming alcohol and, after performing a field sobriety test, was taken into custody.  49-year-old Eric Bartholomew Preston of Brenham was booked at the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcohol Container.
