BURLESON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARREST IN BURGLARY CASE
The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a suspect in a burglary case that occurred last week in Somerville.
A burglary in progress was reported last Tuesday, September 29, at 1pm on County Road 415 in Somerville. The suspects had fled the scene before the deputies arrived.
An investigation identified 51-year-old Blair Foy as a potential suspect in the burglary.
It was also learned that Foy had out-of-county warrants, including from San Jacinto County for Driving While Intoxicated – Three or More Offenses, and Failure to Stop and Render Aid / Give Information.
On Friday, Deputies with the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Caldwell Police Department, served those warrants at a residence on Yaupon Drive in Somerville. Foy was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Burleson County Jail.
Investigators later questioned Foy, where he verbally admitted to his involvement in the burglary. A warrant was obtained, and he was charged with Burglary of a Building.
Foy remains in custody on bonds totaling $17,500 and a parole violation hold. The investigation is still on going.
