BRENHAM FIREFIGHTERS CALLED OUT AFTER BURNT FOOD SETS OFF ALARM

The Brenham Fire Department responded to one call Wednesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., units received a report of a structure fire at Prairie Lea Hall, 911 West Fifth Street.  Firefighters made location to find no fire, but there was burnt food in a room that caused the alarm to go off.  They ventilated the room and reset the alarm before returning to service.
