THREE ACCIDENT RESPONSES FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls for accidents between Thursday and early this (Friday) morning.

Shortly before 5:30 p.m. Thursday, members of the Brenham Fire Department and the Meyersville and Washington Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to a crash in the 20000 block of Highway 105.  They found a two-vehicle accident with major front-end damage.  One patient was extricated from the driver’s seat.  Firefighters helped EMS with patient care until all patients were removed from the vehicles and transported by air.  Three people were pronounced deceased, and three others were flown for treatment.

Just after 8 p.m., a transportation incident was reported in the 4100 block of Highway 105.  Units found a single vehicle that pulled off the roadway, but no accident was found.

Approaching 12:45 a.m. today, BFD members went out to an accident in the 5400 block of Old Chappell Hill Road.  They found a single-vehicle accident with no one injured.  The department returned to service once the roadway was back open.
