VICTIMS NAMED IN TRIPLE FATALITY CRASH ON HIGHWAY 105

  

DPS has released new information and the names of those involved in a triple fatality crash on Thursday on Highway 105, west of the Brazos River. 

According to DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz, a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling eastbound on Highway 105 just before 5:30 p.m.  Sgt. Ruiz reported that the Equinox began to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone and struck a westbound Chevrolet Impala head-on.

The driver of the Impala, 70-year-old Wallace Perry of Washington, and the passenger, 70-year-old Gloria Sanders of Washington, were pronounced dead at the scene.  A back seat passenger in the Equinox, 18-year-old Brooklyn Imani of Cypress, was also pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Equinox, 19-year-old Kayla Bravo of Cypress, and two other passengers, 18-year-old Katherine Atwell of Montgomery and 18-year-old Leyla Aljaloudi of Cypress, were flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in downtown Houston with suspected serious injuries.

Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
