FATHER AND DAUGHTER BOOK IMPACTING COLLEGE STUDENTS
The College and University Lecture Series (CAULS), launched at Blinn College by local authors Rev. Randy Wells and Randi Wells Dixon, has impacted over 1,000 students, with its latest lecture held Tuesday, October 27, at Prairie View A&M University, hosted by the School of Public and Allied Health.
With their book, Daddy and Daughter (DAD) Time - A Memoir of Moments, Memories, and Messages, released January 31, 2026, over 1,000,000 people have connected and engaged via social media in less than a year. Their mission is simple: “Get the Gospel Global to ALL Generations,” connecting students with Christ through conversations about purpose, identity, relationships, and college life while promoting service, spirituality, leadership, and scholarship.
Student leaders at both institutions have championed these positive messages on campus. At Prairie View A&M University, Savannah Sylvester, a graduating Health major; Joy Hill, a Panther Dolls Dance Team member; Jordan Smith, a track and field scholar-athlete; and Emory Watson, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Delta Theta Chapter, recently served as student hosts for live discussions with the authors, students, and administrators.
At Blinn College, football players Konner Brown and Chace Murray, along with dance team leader Jacqueline Merriam, have helped spread positivity while emphasizing academics and athletics.
Those who attended the PVAMU lecture praised the engagement and live discussions. The authors would like to thank the community, students, faculty, and the Dean of the SPAH department Dr. Angela Branch-Vital for being a part of the University Lecture Series hosted by Rev. Randy Wells & Randi Wells Dixon.
Community partners helping spread these messages across college campuses include Blue Bell Creameries, Chick-fil-A Brenham, Chili’s, and LongHorn Steakhouse.
Rev. Randy Wells says we are grateful for community sponsors who allow each college student to receive a "free autograph copy" of the book to take home.
The authors plan to continue the lecture series at Sam Houston State University, Texas A&M University, LSUNO, and additional college campuses as they work toward their mission to “Get the Gospel Global to All Generations!”
