BRENHAM FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE CROWNS CHAMPIONS

The Brenham Flag Football League wrapped up its 2026 season on Thursday with its annual
playoff tournament.

Coaches Jeffery Toliver and Brandon Mueller led the Texas Tech Red Raiders to an undefeated season and a championship in the Peewee Division.

Coaches Chad Lechler and Jamie Eben led the Oregon Ducks to the Junior Division championship with a game
for the ages.

The Brenham Flag Football League was established in 2019 by the Kenjura and McIntyre
families with a handful of teams made up of friends and family members.

Since then, the league has grown to 15 teams, with nearly 200 kids participating across two divisions, serving students
in first through sixth grades.

Brenham Flag Football employs high school students to referee games and gives back to the
community by awarding scholarships to graduating seniors during the annual Brenham High
School Scholarship Ceremony.
