26TH ANNUAL FEAST OF CARING WEDNESDAY AT BRAZOS CENTER IN BRYAN
The Brazos Valley Food Bank is hosting its 26th Annual Feast of Caring today (Wednesday).
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Brazos Center in Bryan.
A modest lunch of rice, beans, sausage, salad and dessert will be catered by Chartwells Catering and served by celebrity waiters.
The annual event helps the Brazos Valley Food Bank with general operating costs associated with securing, storing, and distributing nearly seven million pounds of food annually in the Brazos Valley. The lunch is free, but donations are encouraged.
To-go meals will be available for those unable to stay for lunch. People can also donate online if they can’t make it to the Brazos Center Wednesday.
