J.P. DOUGLAS CONE TO RUN FOR REELECTION

  

Precinct-Two Justice of the Peace Douglas Cone has announce he will run for reelection in 2018.

Cone says his experience in the position is a key, with over 500 hours of education through the Texas Court Training Center.

Cone says the position is one of great complexity, with more to the office than traffic tickets and holding court.  He says extensive hands-on knowledge of the law is a requirement.

Cone as served two terms as the District-7 Director for the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas.  He is also a Certified Texas Master Peace Officer.

So far, Cone has not received an opponent for the 2018 Republican Primary, March 6^th.
