COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DISCUS ROAD & BRIDGE MOVE
Washington County commissioners will continue their discussions on a new facility for the county’s Road and Bridge Department.
At Tuesday’s Comissioners’ Court meeting, members reviewed County Engineer Don Werth’s concept, which includes offices and other features for road and bridge, rural addressing and environmental departments.
Next Tuesday, the commissioners will consider requesting qualifications from architects for the design.
The county owns over 21 acres of property just north of the Brenham on Highway 36, where they plan to move Road and Bridge from its current location on Blue Bell Road.
