BRENHAM FFA STUDENTS COMPETE AT HLSR AG MACHANICS SHOW

  

On Saturday, March 17, 8 Brenham FFA students competed at the HLSR Ag Mechanics Contest in Houston. The students competed against students from across the state of Texas who brought over 550 projects to Houston. The students build the projects at their respective high schools during the school year and then apply the knowledge learned to an actual project. Brenham FFA had 8 students compete with projects and results as follows:

Nathan Caldwell, Reid Bentke, and Jesus Otero showed a 16ft entrance gate which received a blue ribbon.
Cameron Moshack, Jordan Boecker and Javier Arellano (pictured above with teacher Colby FInke) showed a 16ft bumper pull lowboy trailer and received a blue ribbon.
Raleigh Scherer and Winston Walters showed a 12ft welding trailer and received a blue ribbon and placed 6th in their class.
