UPDATE: THIRTY INJURED IN NAVASOTA BUS ACCIDENT
Twenty-five students and five adults have been hospitalized after an accident involving two Navasota ISD school buses in Houston.
According to a post on the district's Facebook page, fifth grade students from John C. Webb Elementary were on their way to a field trip when one bus was rear ended by a Centerpoint Utility truck along Highway 290. That caused the first bus to crash into the bus in front of it.
According to Navasota ISD a total of 94 students and staff were on a total of three buses. Two were involved in the accident,
The Houston Fire Department said the students were taken to North Cypress Medical Center and CY-FAIR Hospital.
