TWO WASHINGTON CO. 4H MEMBERS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS

  

Two graduating Washington County 4-H members were awarded scholarships through the Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship program. These scholarships go out to the best and brightest 4-H members across the state and are based on academic performance, 4-H project experience, leadership and community service. Emily Seeker, daughter of Russell and Tina Seeker, was awarded a $5,000 Texas 4-H Foundation Scholarship. Caroline Schulze, daughter of Scott and Mary Schulze, was awarded a $20,000 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship. These young ladies will be presented with their scholarship at the Texas 4-H Roundup in June.
