GRANT APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR LCRA’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

  

The Lower Colorado River Authority is now accepting grant applications for its Community Development Partnership Program.

Grants are offered up to $50,000.  Applications are available at lcra.org/cdpp, and they are due by July 31.

Eligible organizations include schools, libraries, museums, volunteer fire departments, emergency responders, civic groups, and other non-profit organizations.

Brenham’s City Council has already authorized a grant application for the funding of removable traffic bollards in downtown Brenham, to help public safety during special events.

The grant program has aided over 20 projects, including many in Washington County.  For more information, call the grant coordinator at 800-776-5272, ext. 3140.
