MAN & WOMAN ARRESTED BY BRENHAM P.D. THURSDAY

A Somerville man and a Bellville woman were arrested by Brenham Police on various charges, Thursday.
Officer Andrew Adams was on routine patrol Thursday morning, when he observed 37-year old Bruce Raggo of Somerville, in the area of West First and Church Streets.

According to authorities, Raggo had an active warrant out for his arrest.
Further investigation revealed that a woman with Raggo, identified as 38-year old Judy Chastain of Bellville, was in possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken into custody and booked into the Washington County Jail.
In related news, the Washington County Sheriff’s office says Raggo’s warrant was for his alleged involvement in a July 21st copper theft from a location in the 200 block of O’Malley Road. Thirteen air conditioning coils were taken from a storage unit.
Justice of the Peace Douglas Zwiener issued the warrant earlier this week.
Tuesday, 24-year old Caleb Gene McCarty of Brenham was also arrested in connection with the theft.
Raggo remains in the Washington County Jail enlieu of $5,000 bond.
