WOMAN SENTENCED FOR DRUG POSSESSION

A Salado woman has been sentenced to jail time on a drug possession charge.
28-year old Darian Rose Jones of Salado was arrested earlier this month for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Rose was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by Brenham Police, who found methamphetamines and prescription pills in the vehicle.
Jones pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in jail by District Judge Carson Campbell.
