CARMINE MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Fayette County man faces charges in Brenham after his arrest Sunday.
Just before 4:00 Sunday afternoon, Cpl. Tommy Kurie responded to the shopping center in the 2500 block of South Day Street in reference to a theft.
A description of the suspect and vehicle led to the arrest of 56-year old Christopher Burt of Carmine.
Burt was found with the unpaid merchandise.
He was charged with Failure to identify, Driving while license invalid with previous conviction, Theft class C, Theft class A and three outstanding warrants.
Burt was taken to the Washington County Jail.
