WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER TO HOST FORUM ON HEALTHCARE

Small businesses looking to reduce health-care costs can look forward to an upcoming health-care forum in October.

Dr. Steven Brown

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the forum on October 24th from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Blinn College Student Center banquet room.

Dr. Steven Brown, from the Texas A&M Health Science Center, will be speaking at the event.  Dr. Brown currently serves as chief clinical officer and associate vice president of Clinical Strategy for the Health Science Center.  He also is a professor at the Texas A&M College of Medicine.  Dr. Brown will take questions from the audience at the end of the program.

Jason Jennings

Jason Jennings, President of Baylor Scott and White – College Station Region, will also be there to talk about the Brenham Clinic joining Baylor Scott and White, and what it means for Washington County.

Chairman of the Chamber Board Reverend Randy Wells says the forum will serve as an opportunity for local employers to learn more about a very important topic for the community.

Reservations are $25 for Chamber Members, or $35 for non-members, and include a buffet lunch served at 11:15 a.m.  Reserved tables of 8 are available for $250, or $300 for non-members.  Reservations must be made by October 18th.

To learn more, or to make a reservation, contact the Chamber at 979-836-3695, or email events@brenhamtexas.com.
