BENEFIT FOR SOMERVILLE MAN SATURDAY

  

A benefit to help with medical bills for a Burleson County man is set for Saturday in Somerville.

Steve’s Race to benefit Steve Hodges will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Somerville American Legion Hall.

Hodges is recovering from an aneurism and several small strokes.  The proceeds will go to pay for Hodges’ recent medical bills.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at the Lake Somerville Dam at 8:00 a.m.  The entry fee is $30.

A Turkey Shoot is set for 9:00 a.m.; a bike run at 11:00 a.m.; a meal will be served at 11:00; live and a silent auctions will take place from 1-to-4:00 p.m..

There will also be music, bounce houses, a country store and bake sale.

Music tomorrow night will be provided by the Cody Joe Hodges Band from 5-to7:00 p.m. and the Texas Unlimited Band from 8:30-to-11:00.
