BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

  

Brenham police arrested a local man early Sunday morning on aggravated assault charges.

At around 12:40 a.m., Corporal Jared Campbell was sent out to the 300 block of Hampshire Drive, in response to an assault.

Investigation revealed that two subjects had a verbal argument that turned physical.  The suspect, 24-year-old Jesse Jaramillo of Brenham, had left the scene, but was later found and arrested.

Jaramillo was charged with Aggravated Assault of a Family Member with a Deadly Weapon, as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
