GO TEXAN BBQ & DANCE NEXT FRIDAY/SATURDAY IN BURTON

  

The Washington County Go Texan fundraiser is set for next week in Burton.

The barbeque cook-off and dance will be held Friday and Saturday at the LaBahia (La Buh-HEE) Hall on Highway 237.

The Barbeque Cookoff begins Friday night, featuring: Chicken, Pork Ribs & Brisket; Chili; Jackpot Beans; Steak Shootout; Margaritas and Bloody Marys.

Saturday will feature the announcement of the barbeque winners, live and silent auctions and a dance with The Crossroads Band, beginning at 8:00 p.m.  There is a $15 cover charge for the dance.

The dance will be B.Y.O.B. with coolers welcome and no reserve tables.

All proceeds benefit the Washington County Go Texan Youth Scholarship Fund.
