COUNTY JUDGE DURRENBURGER TO UNDERGO TRAINING

  

Washington County Judge John Durrenberger will be in Austin this week participating in the Texas Association of Counties’ Newly Elected County Judges & Commissioner’s Training.

The program is part of his duties as a newly elected County Judge.

Durrenberger says the training will provide all newly elected county judges, in depth training on the Constitutional duties of a County Judge, ethics laws, public disclosures, insight on managing of litigation issues, property tax issues, law enforcement, jail issues and emergency management…and other topics.

Durrenburge says he’s looking forward to this week’s training and the opportunity to bring back some of the information and utilize these resources on behalf of the residents of Washington County.

The training is conducted by the Texas Association of Counties and the LBJ School of Public Affairs and concludes Thursday.
